How it works
The mechanics
Scrub Sports is a peer-to-peer market: the odds come from another user, who takes the other side of your bet. Each match is its own contract on Kava. Once the result is in, the contract settles on-chain and winnings are paid to your wallet in LION on the next daily payout cycle. More leagues are added as their own contracts on the same factory, so each market keeps its own book. There is a live dashboard and a leaderboard, and an affiliate programme that pays commission on the bets your referrals place.
Odds set by users
Anyone can post odds or take the other side. The protocol matches and settles; the price is whatever another user agreed to.
Settled on-chain, paid in LION
When a match resolves, the contract settles on-chain, and winnings are paid to your wallet in LION on the next daily payout cycle.
One contract per match
Every match is its own contract, so each market keeps its own book and new leagues simply add more.
